DYNAMIC DATA EXCHANGE (DDE) LINK
--------------------------------------------------------
* If you wish to use the DDE link between the New SOED
and your word processor (Microsoft Word for Windows 6
and 7; WordPerfect 6.0 and 6.1; and Ami Pro 3.1), make
sure you have the word processor installed before you install
the New SOED.
* In each session, you need to use the DDE link from your
word processor to the New SOED in order to establish the
link. The link from the New SOED to your word processor
will not be functional in each session until this has been
done.
* The DDE link between the New SOED and your word
processor can transfer a maximum of 75-90 characters at a
time.
* To remove the DDE link from Microsoft Word for
Windows, select the menu item Tools - Macro. In the dialog
box, select the macro newsoed and select delete. This
deletes the menu item, the shortcut key, and the macro
itself. The button can be removed by selecting the menu
item Tools - Customize. Select toolbars and then drag
the button away from the toolbar.
UNINSTALLATION
-------------------------
* The best way to remove the New SOED from your
computer is to use the UNINSTALL THE NEW SOED
program. You will find that this program has been
installed in the NEW SOED Program Group.
* Restart your PC before uninstalling the New SOED,
and re-start your PC again after uninstallation.
